North Beach Christmas Market & Pat Carpenter Holiday Parade, North Beach
December 1, 2018, Parade 12PM, Market 10am-3pm
Enjoy the annual Pat Carpenter Holiday Parade and Christmas Market, December 1, 2018, in North Beach along the bayfront! Every year thousands of spectators line the parade route along the bay to see community participants, and of course, Santa! This year, there will be a Christmas Market featuring vendors selling crafts, food, Christmas trees and wreaths, gifts, and more! Stay after the parade to roast marshmallows on the beach with Santa, and give him a sneak peek at your wishlist. Great for the family, or a kid-free day date.
This is a free event. Carpooling would be a great idea, as parking along the roadside and in community lots is extremely limited.
** Hint Hint… Find CCC Curator Rachel walking in the parade with her Real Estate team “The Riley Team at RE/Max One” and the awesome black Tesla Model X! Say hello and mention this article!! She will have some special community giveaways!!
SCUBA with Santa, Prince Frederick
Free with paid admission to the Edward T. Hall Aquatic Center! Swing into the indoor pool in Prince Frederick to have your photo taken with Santa, under water! You’ll arrive, sign your waivers, and participate in a 60 minute orientation, and then dive in a shallow pool with Santa! Kids 10 and older are eligible to dive, with a parent present. If you are already dive certified, you won’t need the orientation. Make sure to check the event for more detailed info, and be sure to arrive with plenty of time to do paperwork and prep for your dive.

Tobacco Barn Distillery, Home Grown Farmer’s Market, Lexington Park*
December 1, 9am-1PM
This Farmer’s Market will host several vendors with food, gifts, crafts, and handmade items, but a standout vendor is the Tobacco Barn Distillery. Tobacco Barn Distillery is a small local distillery located in Hollywood, MD, who are producing Bourbon, Rum, Rye, Honey Rum, Cinnamon Whiskey, and Constellation Rum (that’s Rum aged onboard the U.S.S. Constellation in Baltimore’s Inner Harbor for 6 months!! How cool!!). Spirits are produced by hand, from local crops and ingredients. So… Tobacco Barn will be hosting a tasting at the Home Grown Farmer’s Market, and they’re hoping you are able to swing in. Grab a few bottles for gifting and for Hostess gifts through the holiday season!
*Weekly Wildcard Event! This event is located slightly out of Calvert But we think it will be worth the drive!
